Dr. Olakunle D. Ajanaku

Dr. Olakunle D. Ajanaku did a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, after which he completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington D. C. as Chief Resident.

Dr. Ajanaku began his office practice in the Pine Medical Building, Suite 104 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma beginning October 1, 1993.

In July of 1998, Dr. Ajanaku became Medical Consultant to George Nigh Rehabilitation Center. In August of 2000, he was appointed Medical Director of Cardiac rehabilitation and currently serves as Medical Director of George Nigh Rehabilitation Center.

Dr. Tom Alexander Dr. Alexander

Dr. Tom Alexander started with GNRC in 1988 when it was formally known as the Okmulgee Rehabilitation Center.

He completed his medical training from the University of Oklahoma in 1963. He served in the U.S. Army as Chief of Medicine at Ft. Stuart Army Hospital.

In addition to his service to GNRC, Dr. Alexander maintains a large private practice in Okmulgee.

Dr. Alexander has served in various leadership positions since joining the team in 1988. He currently provides medical consultation to all patients who are admitted to GNRC.

Pete Eckhardt Dr. Pete Eckhardt

Pete Eckhardt, Physicians Assistant has been a part of the GNRC team since October 1996 after retiring from the Muskogee VAMC, where he had been employed since 1973.
He graduated with the second PA class at OU in 1973. He served in the U.S. Air Force at Tinker Air Force base from 1966 - 1970. He has retired from the Oklahoma Army National Guard after 28 years.

Dr. Ashok KacheKache

Dr. Ashok started with GNRC in 2001.  Dr. Kache specialty in physical medicine and rehabilitation includes services at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, the Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. 

As a licensed Physiatrist, Dr. Kache also has a large private practice in Tulsa, OK.
